Media Production and Documentation Services

1. Background
Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal (Jcycn) is a non-governmental organization working in the field of
youth and child rights. The organization focuses on youth-friendly local governance, youth engagement in
climate governance, child-friendly governance, employment, migration, participation, and the protection
and empowerment of girls.
As part of its ongoing project activities under the NutriLearn Program and other initiatives, Jcycn seeks to
engage a qualified firm/service provider for media production and documentation services.

2. Objectives
The main objective of this assignment is to produce high-quality communication and documentation
materials that effectively capture project activities, learning, and impact.

3. Scope of Work
The selected service provider will be responsible for the following:

1. Develop a comprehensive Handbook of Projects (including content organization, design, and
   layout)
2. Produce a Jcycn Documentary Video and Report highlighting Girls Learning Centre
3. Produce five (5) short videos (5–7 minutes each) under the “Kurakani” banner, focusing on:
   o Healthy eating practices
   o Nutrition awareness
4. Produce a one-year progress and learning video of the NutriLearn Project in Devchuli
   Municipality, Carry out drone videography during field production

4. Deliverables
The service provider is expected to deliver:

• Final designed and print-ready Handbook
• One (1) documentary video
• One (1) comprehensive report
• Five (5) short videos (5–7 minutes each)
• One (1) project progress and learning video
• All raw footage, edited files, and source materials

5. Duration of Assignment
The assignment is expected to be completed by May 2026 from the date of contract signing.

6. Eligibility Criteria
Interested firms/service providers must meet the following requirements:

• Legally registered company/firm
• Proven experience in media production, documentation, and video editing
• Strong portfolio of similar assignments
• Availability of technical team and equipment (including drone capability)
• Understanding of development sector work is an added advantage

7. Required Documents
Applicants must submit:

• Company/Firm Registration Certificate
• Recent Tax Clearance Certificate
• VAT/PAN Registration Certificate
• Company profile and portfolio
• Financial proposal/quotation

8. Submission Details
Interested firms are requested to submit their technical and financial proposals along with required
documents via email or hard copy to the Jcycn office, Senepa Lalitpur.
Deadline for submission: 02 April 2026

9. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:

• Relevant experience and portfolio
• Technical capacity and proposed approach
• Financial competitiveness
• Compliance with required documents
